Day 1
Arrive at COCHIN – check in at Hotel – After fresh up proceed for city Tour- visit Jewish Synagogue / Dutch Palace / St.Francis Church / Santa Cruz Basilica / Chinese Fishing Nets and later board a boat for sunset backwater cruise. Return to city for shopping at 7pm.
Day 2
After Breakfast proceed to Guruvayoor- Indias most popular pilgrim centre – visit Elephant camp where more than 60 elephants are taken care by the temple – Later proceed to visit Malayatoor church another pilgrim centre of Catholics where St. Thomas landed in kerala – after spending time there visit the elephant training camp at Kodanad where wild elephants are being trained – Here one could see how elephants are fed and given bath – Evening return to cochin.
Day 3
After Breakfast check out to proceed to Kumarakom to board HOUSEBOAT- Undoubtedly the most scenic of all the tourists spots in Kerala, Kumarakom is on the banks of the famous Vembanad lake which is in Kuttanad. A 14 acre Bird sanctuary adds to the natural beauty of Kumarakom. Water Ducks, Cuckoos, Siberian Storkes etc.. make Kumarakom their peaceful home. Here your stay is arranged in HouseBoat which is a traditional rice transporting boats. These boats were used to transport rice and other supplies which involved weeks of travel when the boatman and his family lived inside. These boats have now been redesigned providing luxurious accommodation for Tourists. Overnight in Houseboat.
Day 4
After Breakfast check out to proceed to THEKKADY or PERIYAR - Arrive and check in at Hotel – at 3pm proceed for plantation Tour – return to town for shopping.
Day 5 After an early Bed Tea proceed for Periyar Lake Boating at 6.30am to catch the glimpse of wild animals coming out from jungle to drink water in the lake - After breakfast check out to proceed to MUNNAR – arrive MUNNAR and check in at the resort /hotel – Afternoon free to relax and enjoy the chillness of this lovely hill station.
Day 6 After breakfast visit Rajamalai wild life sanctuary to see rare species of animal called NILGIRI TAHR – afternoon visit Mattuppety Dam for speed boat cruise / Echo point / Kundalay dam and return to town for shopping.
Day 7
After breakfast check out to drive straight to Airport to catch flight back home .
